Friends of Willowbank is a group of parents, carers, teachers and friends who meet on a regular basis to organise events and raise funds for the school. Friends of Willowbank is much more than fundraising and aims to provide closer links between home and school. We aim to bring both staff and families together socially in support of a common goal and we have a lot of fun too. Your support is invaluable to provide extra resources for the children at Willowbank and the more volunteers we have the more events and fundraising we can do

Friends of Willowbank is a registered charity. Our goal is to support the school and to help raise funds, which will benefit the children.

We work hard to be inclusive of all children, wherever possible, and encourage parents and carers to let us know how we can achieve that on an individual basis.

Recent fundraisers have been able to support: forest school, movie night, sensory room.

Previous fundraisers have contributed towards

• The outdoor classroom - £7,250.

• New sound system - £3,500.

• Year 6 leavers trip and presents

• New forest school shed

• Writing shed for foundation

• Development of the pond area

• Playground markings

• Lunchtime equipment

Events we have run:

Easter trail, Halloween trail, Krispy Kreme donuts. We are also organising the Jubilee celebrations in the playground and have more exciting ideas coming soon.

WAYS TO BE INVOLVED

Whatever your skill set, you might be creative genius who can conjure up a multitude of fun activities for children, you may be great at making tea or cakes, a silent observer or the all important extra pair of hands that can give up some spare time to help at events, everyone is welcome.
