A small task relating to the learning they are currently doing in school e.g. read a story, find an object, compare items etc. These tasks will be posted on the class webpage.
Children will take home a ‘book of choice’ which is shared with an adult. This will be to develop communication, language, understanding, listening skills and pleasure for books.
When children have demonstrated the initial skills of segmenting, blending and other phonological skills, they will be allocated a Bug Club book online. Comments to be recorded in your child’s Reading Log. |
