Christmas has begun!  We would like to thank Mole Valley Farmers for their kind donation of our tree this year and Aldi for donating the lights.  This now takes pride of place in school and looks absolutely beautiful.

We have also entered into a competition held by Mole Valley for the best decorated tree.  We have got our fingers and toes crossed as the school could win £50.00 prize money if ours is deemed to be the best - and we think it is!!

  • BECKY BETTESWORTH VISIT

    Fri 15 Nov 2019

Willowbank staff and pupils were delighted to welcome the local artist Becky Bettesworth into school this week.  The children had been working on their own pieces of art to represent who they are and where they live and they shared these pieces with Becky. Their artwork was in her style, carefully choosing shapes, colours and considering how to layer carefully.  They chose special places in Cullompton, ie the church, the Memorial and the famous duck houses! Below are some quotes from the children....

"I enjoyed meeting her and seeing all of her lovely artwork" by M  - "She told me lots of tips on how to improve my artwork" by M - "I liked meeting Becky because she looked at all of our artwork and told us all the things she liked about it" by C.

  • WOW, 10 POSTERS! Aldi's kit for schools

    Thu 14 Nov 2019

With thanks to all parents/families who collected the sports stickers from Aldi since September, you have enabled us to fill 10 posters!

This means we have 10 chances to win £20,000 for our school and we will receive 10 sports kits.

Ryan (pictured with just 4 of the 10 posters) has been our 'Aldi Ambassador' he, along with 2 of his friends from Year 5 have given up their time during the school day to collect the stickers from the office, stick them on the posters and deliver them back to Mrs Ingram again once full.  That's 3000 stickers in total! Well done.

Now we keep our fingers crossed!
