Children in Need 2020
Sat 14 Nov 2020We participated in this year’s Children in Need focus of ‘Five to Thrive’. Throughout the week, the children participated in a variety of activities related to physical health and wellbeing led by Joe Wicks, Dr Radha and Blue Peter. Inspired by the 5 Ways to Wellbeing, each day explored different activities designed to help children feel better about themselves. On Friday 13th November we held a ‘Dress up as Joe Wicks’ day. As Joe Wicks likes to dress up during his workouts, children wore a variety of outfits from football kits, active clothing, unicorn and superhero costumes.
The BBC Children In Need website, https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/schools/primary-school/ has some useful tips and activities that support children’s health and explains the 5 elements connected to wellbeing.
