• Years 3 and 4 Wildside Experience

  On Monday Hedgehog class went to the Wildside experience followed by Otter class on Tuesday and finally, Squirrels will go on Thursday!

• Sidmouth Beach clean - Deer, Owls and Foxes class

  We had fab time at the beach today cleaning the beach by collecting non biodegradable waste. We are pleased to say that whilst we didn't find lots of waste, the items we did find, which included plastic, rope, metal and netting has helped to protect wildlife and to preserve our coastline. 

   

  The children also enjoyed dipping their feet into the sea and building pebble towers. 

  Mrs Ingram was particularly pleased with the tower she, Lewis, Joshua and Jonathan built together. 

   

  

• Willowbank Pop up Swap shop

  Our pop up swap shop makes it's debut today. Watch the video for a sneak peek. It will be open every Friday between 9.30 and 10.30am. We will also open it today at 3pm.

• Cullompton Spring Fest

  We sent Mrs Playford along to the Spring Fest to help judge the fancy dress competition. Mrs Playford had a great time and really enjoyed representing our school at this community event.

• Willowbank Pop up Swap shop

  The Willowbank pop up swap shop is due to make its debut on Friday 14th May 9.30-10.30. There will be a one way system for you to browse items safely. There will be a donations box by the entrance, however this is not a requirement at all. All Willowbank parents are welcome to drop in.

  Welcome to the Willowbank Parent & Toddler Group blog.

   

  We are delighted to restart our Toddler group from Tuesday 11th May and then every Tuesday Morning in the school hall from 9.15am – 11.00am, where we have a variety of age appropriate toys for children aged between new-born to 4 years. We have an Arts & Craft table every week for parents and children to use and enjoy.  Some weeks there will be themed crafts depending on the holidays/events that are coming up around the time i.e. Easter, Halloween, Bonfire/Firework Night, Christmas etc. We run on a Free Flow basis so we take our lead from what the children want to play with:

   

  Our aim for this toddler group is to inspire and empower young minds, allowing them to be able to interact with other children around the same age and help them with all aspects of their personal developmental including having lots of fun through play!

   

  It only costs £1.50 per family which includes refreshments.

  There is a Facebook group which also acts as the booking system which has all the info too, it's called 'Willowbank Primary School Toddler Group'. 

   

  Staff that are available within this Toddler Group are:

   

  Mrs Charlotte Stephens – Family Support Worker at Willowbank and is available to offer a friendly ear for advice or to answer any queries/questions you may have in regards to the school itself. The toddler group is run within the First Federations policies and procedures framework.
