Year 5 and 6 Spelling Coverage - Autumn 1

Below are a list of spelling rules, and examples, that Year 5 and 6 will be taught each week. These are in line with the National Curriculum Programme of Study and alongside our Whole School Phonics and Spelling Programme.

Your child's teacher will teach the rule each week and allow time to practise in school - words to learn will then be spent home each week, following the specific taught rule.
