WORLD BOOK DAY!

Good morning everyone, Mrs Staples has prepared a brilliant day of learning for us today to celebrate world book day.  Our day kicks off with Move and Choose, this time you can choose between Alone together with Miss Gibbs or Cookies with Mrs Isaac.  (Sneaky secret, they are pre-recorded so you might be able to watch the one that you didn't choose later in the day.  We also have a live quiz to look forward to.

Good morning Year 3 and well done for completing half a term of home learning. We have been so impressed with your hard work and creativity this half term.

Next week is half term, so there will be no home learning on the website. Instead, you could check out the Outdoor Learning section for lots of interesting activities that you can do outside.

You also might want to look in the PE folder. In there is some information about the Devon Virtual Games- there are medals and certificates to be won! Over the next half term, there will be six different events to enter, and information on the first one can be found on the PE page.

Well done for all your letters that you sent to us yesterday. It was lovely to read about how grateful you are to the different key workers that are supporting us at this time- and I am sure that if they could read your letters, they would feel truly appreciated.

Good morning Year 3 and welcome back to the Summer Term!  

We hope you had a lovely Easter break and managed to enjoy a little of the sunshine. We put together a film from our fashion show - if you haven't seen it, check out the Unit 2 class page to watch the video.

The Butterfly Lion - Michael Morpurgo

Each day, we will read a chapter from a book, along with a question for you to answer. 

We are starting with The Butterfly Lion - we hope you enjoy the story. 

The blurb    -  Bertie rescues an orphaned white lion cub from the African veld.  They are inseperable until Bertie is sent to boarding school far away in England and the lion is sold to a circus.  Bertie swears that one  day they will see one another again, but the butterfly lion ensures that their friendship will never be forgotten.

Fashion show

We hope you are enjoying the Easter break. As you know, we were unable to invite parents into school to watch the Unit 2 fashion show. The children were very disappointed so we recorded the event and a video has now been uploaded to class page (class pages can be found using the the children tab at the top of the web page). The children had lots of fun taking part in the fashion show and their designs were amazing.  We are very proud of their efforts. 

A massive well done from the Unit 2 team.
