Welcome to Willowbank Primary

We are a mid-sized primary school in Cullompton which became part of the First Federation Trust on 1st September 2018. The First Federation Trust is large multi-academy trust consisting of a diverse range of primary schools across Devon, Dorset and Plymouth. Its family of primary schools range from smaller two-class village schools to much larger urban primaries, and includes a mix of church and community schools. Collaboration across the trust and its family of schools is fundamental to its approach.

Inclusion is key to our commitment in providing a high quality education that meets the needs of all of our learners, and we strongly believe that by giving pupils access to what they need, when they need it, they will be successful learners who are able to thrive.

Cultural capital is important to us and we are proud of our Unique Enrichment Offer, providing all pupils with a wealth of hands on experiences and opportunities throughout their primary school journey.

Our committed and talented staff team work hard to ensure that every child, regardless of background or circumstances is supported and encouraged to do their best and fulfil their own personal potential. We want all of our children to have happy memories of primary school and we strive to equip them with the necessary skills and tools needed to be successful, lifelong learners.  

We are proud of our place within our school community and our Early Help Team endeavour to support the wider needs of our pupils, parents and community. Our internal SEMH base, The Willow Branch, provides a more personal learning environment for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, while our targeted parent offer provides workshops, cafes, a swap shop and a foodbank.
