  • REMEMBRANCE DAY - MONDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2019

    We were extremely proud of our Year 6 Prefects who attended the Ceremony on Monday of this week. They were a credit to the school. We were pleased to receive the following email from a parent "Just a quick email to express my personal appreciation and thanks to the
    school for showing your respects at today's 11am remembrance parade in
    Cullompton Town Centre

    Attending the parade myself in my military uniform it was great to see the
    young people of Willowbank representing the school and behaving extremely
    well" (I wouldn't have expected anything else)
  • POPPY DISPLAY

    Please pop into the office and see our beautiful poppy display.  This was made by the children with the help of Mrs. Jaworski.  

    We are delighted to be able to share this display with you as we approach Remembrance Day.

  • IT'S CHILDREN IN NEED WEEK - WEEK COMMENCING MONDAY 11TH NOVEMBER

    We are looking forward to the exciting fundraising activities planned for next week to raise money for this important charity.

    On Monday we will be having a 'Name the Pudsey Bear' Competition, on Tuesday we will be filling Pudsey faces with 2p coins, on Wednesday there will be an Assembly and in-class activities for children, on Thursday we will be having a Cake Sale and on Friday there will be a 'Dress-up in your favourite colour' Day!

  • Becky Bettesworth Visit

    On Thursday 14th November, Becky Bettesworth, a well-known, local artist will be visiting pupils in Unit 1 (Years 1 & 2). She will spend some time with the children looking at and discussing their artwork, which they will have created to represent themselves and where they live.

    At the end of the school day, ALL children and Parents are welcome to meet Becky.  She will be available in the hall, where you also have the chance to buy her prints, and if you would like your print signed, she is happy to do this at no extra cost!  The prints cost between £14 and £24 and there will be a wide selection of work available to view. 

  • Open Morning for 2020 School Starters

    On Saturday 2nd November, we were delighted to meet children and parents from the local area. It was a wonderful morning where children had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including outdoor play, Forest School as well as numerous activities within the classroom. Parents talked to staff and learnt more about our Foundation Stage Unit.

     

  • Harvest Collection for People Matter Food Bank

    Thank you to all those children and parents who donated items to our Harvest collection for the People Matter Food Bank. As you can see we received a lot of donations of the items are the food bank are most in need of. The collection will be delivered to the People Matter Team later this week. 

    Thank you for helping us to support members of our community.

     

  • CHRISTMAS FAIR - FRIDAY 6TH DECEMBER 2019

    The Christmas Fair will take place on Friday 6th December from 2.30 pm.

     

    We are expecting a very special guest to make an appearance.  We can't say too much but we think he will be wearing a red suit and has a white beard?? I wonder who it can be....

    The children are all looking forward to their Halloween Disco tonight.  If your child hasn't got a ticket, please don't worry, they can still come along and enjoy the fun.  The times are as follows:

    Foundation Stage, Year 1 & Year 2: 4.30 - 5.30 pm

    Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 & Year 6: 5.45 - 6.45 pm
